Welcome to the first live painting demonstration of 2013 – Birds on a Branch. This is a preview of my upcoming BYOB & Paint Class. Check out the video tonight and if you’re interested in the class, just leave me a comment below!
I want to share a little story with you about this painting. I saw a similar design on Pinterest, pinned it, but decided to change the colors when I started to paint.
I had the turquoise & grey background painted when a friend of mine, Amanda at Crafts by Amanda, shared a photo in our Facebook group. She was painting a gift for her daughter who had also pinned the same photo I had.
When I saw Amanda’s Birds on a Branch Silhouette I couldn’t believe it! I wanted to show her my painting but we had to keep it a secret from her daughter on all social media because she didn’t know what her mother had painted yet.
I hope you’ll drop by and see Amanda’s painting too. I love the colors she used.
Which reminds me, you don’t have to use the turquoise on this painting if you take the class next week. If you some other color works better for you, just let me know and I’ll help you get the right shades.
There are still some spaces open for this class for next Thursday, January 17, at 6 pm PST. For more info on the classes, click here to register. I’d love to ‘meet’ you!
