Can you believe it?!? I know, me neither!
But it’s true. It’s really here. Whoohoo!!! It’s Flamingo Friday!
Now some of you might be wondering just what exactly is Flamingo Friday.
Well, let me tell you . . .
Flamingo Friday is a day to celebrate absolutely nothing . . . or absolutely everything.
I mean, why not a day to celebrate the flamingo?
There are days to celebrate everything and everyone else, right?
And here’s the thing . . . after the 4th of July we got nothin’. No holidays at all. Unless you got a happy birthday or anniversary or something. But that’s for someone else.
I’m sorry but I can’t wait all the way until Halloween to celebrate. Huh uh.
Nope, I’m gonna have tons of fun right now, today, on Flamingo Friday.
And in honor of this banner event, I painted a couple of the pink honorees.
I was going to make a sign or a printable for you but then I had a better idea – flamingo PATTERNS!

Not one, but TWO flamingo patterns! One looking this way and one looking that way.
>Okay, okay. Enough silliness. I’m done. (I think.)<
I painted some flamingos to make some whimsical products for my Zazzle store. They’ve been sitting on my worktable for a couple of weeks. Just . . . sitting.
While I haven’t been able to make any products yet, I thought somebody might enjoy a flamingo pattern or two.
Whether you want to celebrate Flamingo Friday or not, well, that’s totally up to you.

Love the flamingos!! Thanks for the pattern.
Colleen says
You’re welcome, Laura! I’m thinking of maybe adding them to the vintage camper I painted a while back? Too tacky? Or just tacky enough, lol.
Have a great weekend!

That would be a fun image!

I tried to download your flamingo patterns and it will not let me. Can you help me? I am doing my classroom in flamingos this year and I am looking for a pattern to make one for my door. Thanks.
Colleen says
I’m SO sorry Stacy! I’ve changed the settings so you can print/download both flamingos.
Hey, I’d LOVE to see what your classroom looks like if you don’t mind sharing. We might be able to put together a blog post!
Thanks so much.
