When I signed up here for 31 Days of Kids Crafts, I knew it was gonna be a challenge for me. Just to write for 31 days straight, post it & share is a bit of a stretch but I thought it would be a good challenge for me.
I was wrong.
A few things happened that I hadn’t counted on. I knew my mother had chemo scheduled, but I’ve managed to blog before while taking care of her. This time was different though. Let’s just say, it’s been really rough. Then throw in a sinus infection/thing where I couldn’t sleep, eat, or even move without pain and the whole 31 Day thing went out the window.
For five days.
I’ll do my best to catch up, which means two, or more, posts for a few days. But honestly, I can’t guarantee it’ll happen.
Just in case you were holding your breath, waiting for 31 different kids crafts .
Well, I’m here today at least, with a super simple fun craft the kids will love. You’ll love it because it’s also a recycled craft.
That is, if you’re like me and happen to love soup. From Safeway.
Which apparently I do.
Of course, any plastic container would work. (Keurig, anyone? They’re a little small but they’d still work.) Or pudding cups, applesauce. You name it.

Supply List
Krylon Fusion, spray paint for plastic, has the perfect shade of orange too.
When the paint is thoroughly dry (it took 2-3 coats) grab your Sharpie and draw any face you want. Your older kids can do this themselves.
Then fill in the eyes, noses and mouths with the marker. Simple, huh?
Stack ‘em up, grab a ball, and let your kids bowl to their hearts’ content!
