Have you ever toured homes all decked out for Christmas? Well, today I have something close – a tour of 40 Beautiful Themed Christmas Trees! These gorgeous Christmas trees are in the homes of some of my favorite bloggers. I encourage you to click thru to their posts to see more of their beautiful homes!
My love of themed Christmas trees started when I was the floral designer in a craft store. Every year thousands of ornaments would come in, themselves in a particular theme. It was my job to use them creatively in a tree along with other items from the store. Fabric, ribbon, tiny frames and more would go into making a theme to sell the line of ornaments. Such fun!
And, yes, loads of work!
Before we begin the ‘tour’ I want to share my post Designer Christmas Tree Decorating Tips.
I have tips from lighting to ribbon in this post. While your tree is probably decorated, you might take away some ideas for next year.
Okay, let’s start the ‘tour’ of Themed Christmas Trees and see if you can spot any trends. We’ll start with more traditional trees, those that use lovely plaid or buffalo checks.
Next up are a couple of lovely trees with a bird theme.
When decorating themed Christmas trees, you’re only limited by your imagination. If you love Succulents, then you create a spectacular tree with them!
This next grouping are what I call one-of-a-kind themed trees. From a Grinch tree to chocolate brown, these are incredibly trees.
Now let’s see some color-themed trees. We’ll start with pink. Yes, pink!
How about some blue & white Christmas trees? I hadn’t seen one before these and they really won me over!
Let me turn your attention towards these classic neutral trees. There’s something understated yet elegant about trees decked in neutral tones.
Hold on now, we’re going from neutrals to crazy-fun color!
One of my favorite places to put a tree – if there’s room – is in the kitchen. These next two trees will show you why.
