I’m writing this in my new ‘home’. Gone is the peace and quiet but here there is laughter and giggles and loads of family activity. Something I never thought I’d live with again. Would I have chosen this new path? Probably not. However He knew what I needed more than I did. He knew I needed to be surrounded with love and activity, something I never dreamt of needing. Which is why I’ve made some Boho Wreath Printables for you to encourage you to Dream.
I made three options of this Boho Wreath printable. Choose one or all. Give one to a friend who is in need or maybe just needs a little lift.
You know, Life is a rollercoaster ride. There are thrills and twists and turns and a whole lotta uncomfortableness. (Is that a word?) It is also exhilarating and joyful . . . usually where you least expect it. Or it has been for me these past few years.
Did I ever dream I’d be living with a family of 5? Not in my wildest dreams. But I never dreamt my husband would die at age 55 either. Yet here I am.
And I’m not alone.
Dreams do come true, I fully believe that. Just maybe not in the form or fashion you thought.
Enjoy the printables, my friends!

Dear Colleen, I lost my husband at 59 years old, and life has sure been different, I fully understand and my daughter keeps telling me that the day is getting closer, when I must live with them ( am 75 now and still working, so will put it off as long as I can) I love your columns and appreciate the free patterns more than you can imagine. take care, sending Smiles and Hugs . Oh Ruthie, I’m so very sorry. Yes, life is different. Definitely not what we planned in our fifties, for sure.
Good for you for continuing to work! And please check all options. Not to imply living with your daughter wouldn’t be wonderful; I’m sure it would. But now seniors have many, many options open to them.
Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for that reminder, Brenda. I’m glad you like the printables. I feel beyond blessed to be taken in by my grandson’s family and to spend so much more time with him. I feel like my husband is helping Him orchestrate all of this.
