Merry Christmas – and my gift to you!

December 24, 2014 By Colleen 24 Comments

Free pet portrait

I know you’re probably busy with holiday preparations and merriment today, but I couldn’t pass up this opportunity to tell you how very much all of you – every single one of you who reads this blog – mean to me.

Words of gratitude are fine and I try to remember to tell you how much I appreciate you but I wanted to do just a little more. So I’m offering one reader the opportunity to win a custom 8 x 10 pet portrait painted by me, and to everyone else – a 50% discount coupon for a custom pet portrait, any size of your choosing.

If you don’t have your own pet, then maybe you could use the coupon or prize portrait as a gift to someone special in your life. It’s totally up to you.

Pet PortraitsSome portraits I painted and drew in 2014

(And yes, I wish I’d thought of this last Fall so you could’ve had these for Christmas, but as most of you know, this year has been a little rough for me.)

So! Let’s do the Giveaway first!

The Giveaway runs today December 24, 2014 to January 31, 2015

Value $150

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Of course, maybe you don’t want to wait a month to find out if you’ve won – in which case you can use an Etsy coupon to receive 50% off any portrait size of your choosing. In case you are the winner, your payment would be refunded up to $150.

Just head over to my Etsy shop and enter MERRYXMAS2YOU after you’ve chosen the size of portrait you want painted.

50% Discount Coupon – MERRYXMAS2YOU

I wish it was possible to have a big party where I could meet you all in person and give you a huge hug, but this is the best I can do right now.

Merry Christmas

I send you the warmest greetings for a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Much love,

Colleen

I have a pair of Pug’s Joey “D” Pug and Roxie Kisses and I would have portraits done of both. We have had many pets through the years but these fur babies have stolen our hearts. They are just a comical pair! LOL

since my cat Arwen a week before Christmas, I’d probably get one done of either her alone, or her with my other cat Pippin.

    Hi Colleen,
We have enjoyed seeing all of the pets you have drawn and have noticed you have a knack of capturing just the right look that seems to bring out the individual personalities of each of the special pet! That is our hope and that is why we would love it if we won a free painting of our Maggie. Maggie was diagnosed with lymphoma this summer. She has spent the last six months undergoing chemo treatments. With the support of her doggie-brother, Charlie with her at all of her treatments, Maggie is currently in remission and we’re hoping for a complete recovery with many years of love.
We wish you and yours a merry Christmas holiday and the very best in 2015!
Our Maggie & Charlie are our second children!

I would have you paint our Jack Russell Terrier, who we rescued from the Pound in 2003. He’s getting up in years, and probably won’t be around many more years, but he can still jump like crazy when he feels like it. His name is Charlie, but the grandkids call him Uncle Charlie!
