One of my most popular paint projects has been How to Paint Flowers in 15 Minutes – even if you can’t paint.
At the time I just titled it what I thought fit but I’ve wondered thru the years how many people were a little disappointed when they saw my “dipdot” flowers.
I hope not too many because you really can paint flowers in under 15 minutes.
While these dipdots were all done with the end of a paintbrush – therefore on the smallish side – you still can’t create a pretty little garden with all types of flowers.
At any rate, everything I’m doing lately has two requirements – 1) it’s got to be fast since I’m so busy doing ‘business’ stuff and 2) it has to have a video. I have so much to learn about making videos still so the more I do, the quicker I’ll get better at them.
Hopefully.
So I recreated the dipdot flowers again, only this time on video.
I’m hoping that pretty soon making videos will become fun.
ahem.
I’m pretty doubtful I’ll ever get used to the sound of my voice though. (ick).
Have you tried dipdots yet? Let me know if you have and what you painted. Hint: they’re really fun on Easter eggs!

I JUST LOVE DIPDOT, Perhaps a couple of years ago I came across your blog by chance, and DIPDOT. I love dabbling with colours never doing anything to show, however I practised on an old glass dish which was ready to be thrown in the trash bin, WOW, i USED TRANSPARENT COLOURS, then , again, a salad dish, they both sit in the centre of my kitchen table, modestly I can say that they are beautiful. I extended my new “talent to my kitchen wall, a small corner where my 2 cats have their dishes, all dipdot… I have my ARTY MOMENTS last week I painted a wonderful bunch of muticloured baloons on my terrace wall, not dipdot, I made a stencil.I look forward to your news, Some brands of colours you advise cannot be found in Italy where I live, no trouble I just drink in all the beautiful paintings and tips. However DIPDOT IS BY FAR MY BEST CHOICE,,Quick easy and effetive.Thank you, I wish to add what a wonderful person you are, and I cried for the loss of your dear mother, I didn’t write before, because I knew your pain, I lost my mum and a son.
You come over as a positive intelligent woman.
KEEP PAINTING. RITA
